Festival de Bluegrass, tenu au Golden Gate Park, ce dimanche. Nous avons notamment pu y voir Gillian Welch et Emmylou Harris, deux figures iconiques du genre. Un regal.

SPE ATCE 2004

Monday, October 4th, 2004

I have presented a paper at the SPE ATCE 2004:

SPE90069, “Streamline-based history-matching: example of application to mature, giant, carbonate reservoir”.

This paper was written with the help of Tony Kovscek (Stanford University), Jef Caers (Stanford University), Misty Alexa (Dubai Petroleum Company), and Marco Thiele (StreamSim Technologies Inc.).

If you want to give me any feedback on that paper, please feel free to contact me.

Research

Monday, October 4th, 2004

I will not expose all the little details about research work, mostly because Internet is not quite the right place for that at that stage of development. But in short, it deals with streamline-based history matching using geostatistical constraints. If you are interested in that topic or if you work in that area too, please contact me directly.

You can also talk to my advisors (Prof Tony Kovscek and Jef Caers), read my papers (ekofisk web site), or come to the Stanford group meetings.

I also encourage you, if you are using streamline, to pay a little visit to StreamSim technologies. They provide a very powerful tool for streamline computations, with a fast and accurate computational engine, and very easy in/out interfacing. I use it all the time, interfaced with Gocad.
